My Heart Beats for Love I have this one song called “My Heart Beats for Love”, which I wrote for my best friend, who is also my hair stylist, who is gay. I wrote it for him and about how people can be very judgemental. So I think love is kinda like the, you know, morals that I have that I put into my songs, and I think that’s really important. Telling people not to discriminate, and not to judge, and to just be open to the world.

Robot The song is about Hollywood (Disney in particular) and how they were controlling Miley’s every move. “Set me free,” and “Sell this, and hit your mark,” are prime examples. However, the song is also about Cyrus taking her life back. She proclaims, “Stop trying to live my life for me,” and “I’m not your robot,” as loud and clear defiances to Disney.

"Every Rose Has Its Thorn" Bret Michaels said the inspiration for the song came from a night when he was in a laundromat in Dallas waiting for his clothes to dry, and called his girlfriend on a pay phone. Michaels said he heard a male voice in the background and was devastated; he said he went into the laundromat and wrote "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" as a result.

Who Owns My Heart Cyrus described it as a "total dance track" with a cool concept. "Who Owns My Heart" was written about the feelings a club's environment can lead one to believe. Cyrus depicted the club scene to be very sexy, which she thought was primarily composed by the music playing and intense lighting, and thought that it might trigger fake emotions with the person one is dancing with. Liberty Walk which is about female empowerment, saying: "It's just about freeing yourself from anything you think is holding you back. And I think that's really important, especially for girls, because so many people are told, 'No, you can't do something,' or, 'You need to be this because Mom and Dad say that, teachers say this.' "I wrote it for women that feel like they're stuck in abusive relationships, but it's a dance song".She elaborated: "So you think that must be kind of a sad ballad, but it's a party song. ... It's about breaking free."

Can't Be Tamed According to Cyrus, the track's moral is to free yourself from any biding or hindrance, in particular application to women. Cyrus said the song's message applies to different situations. Personally to her, "it is about being a cage and people looking at you."As for others, she believed it could describe high school, in a situation where "someone feeling they have to be one way to be with a clique and they want to be who they are. A relationship, or whatever, it is just breaking out and feeling free."

This song made me cry then and now listening to it after 15 yrs and still made me cry as being married to someone who "smiles n never shout, make the best of every situation, Fragile and strong..indeed a beautiful combination ❤ 😭
